A federal judge ruled that using a cloud AI tool to prepare legal documents destroyed attorney-client privilege — because the platform's privacy policy allows data sharing with government authorities.

Yes — significantly. This changes how I think about cloud AI tools. Somewhat — I'll be more cautious going forward. I wasn't aware of this ruling until now. No — I don't think it applies to how I use AI.
